Niagara Parks Greenhouse is a lovely escape from inclement weather and is open free prior to May 24 weekend and after September 30 or first frost. The parking lot for the greenhouse is opposite the old Toronto Power Generating Station on River Road just upstream from the falls and is well marked. There are several designated parking spots and it's only a short trip into the greenhouse although it can be cold in the dead of winter.
The greenhouse has two sections to it, one reflecting the plants and flowers in bloom in Niagara at the time and the other a tropical area. More than 70 colorful free-flying tropical birds
flit the length of the entire greenhouse.

Fragrance Gardens - There is a lovely completely accessible fragrance garden just outside the greenhouse. In the summer it is an incredible experience but anyone with allergies is warned that this garden is designed to give you the full experience of floral scent.
