One of Canada’s most brilliant cultural icons and the world’s finest theatre companies, The Shaw Festival is an annual eight-month celebration (April to November) of plays by Bernard Shaw and his contemporaries and modern takes on his time period.

The Shaw Festival performs in three venues: The Festival Theatre, The Royal George Theatre and The Court House Theatre. However, only the Festival Theatre and the Royal George are wheelchair accessible. The third venue, the Court House is a heritage building we rent, and we are unable to make the necessary adjustments to its structure.
Please note that although the Royal George is accessible, a ramp needs to be put into place to accommodate.

The 2003 season consists of 11 plays that provide a delightful mix of comedy and drama, the work of Bernard Shaw and his contemporaries. Full descriptions of the plays can be found at www.shawfest.com.

Any member of our box office staff is equipped and would be pleased to assist someone with a disability. However, we recommend that people with special needs call our 1800 number between the hours of 9am-8pm when additional support is available for special queries.
